QuickBooks Online integration

Your books already know what you ordered. Now TraxSail does too.

Connect QuickBooks Online and two things happen automatically: every purchase order you raise there becomes a tracked TraxSail PO, and every supplier bill is checked against the price the PO agreed.

Read-only, never writes to your books Included on every plan No credit card to try it

Two jobs, handled the moment you connect

No CSV to upload, no manual entry. QuickBooks is already the record of what you ordered and what you were billed, this just puts that record to work.

Purchase orders import themselves

Raise a PO in QuickBooks the way you always have. It appears in TraxSail with the supplier, item, quantity and price already filled in, and the automatic follow-up starts the moment it's overdue. Nobody has to remember to export or upload anything.

Every bill is checked against the PO

When a supplier's bill lands in QuickBooks, TraxSail compares its unit price with what the purchase order agreed. An increase of 3% or more is written as a note on that PO, so you see it before the next order, not three months later on a spreadsheet.

Connecting it takes about a minute

1

Open Integration Settings

Click Connect on the QuickBooks Online card.

2

Approve on Intuit's screen

Sign in and approve TraxSail directly with QuickBooks. Your password never touches TraxSail.

3

The backfill runs

Open POs, ninety days of bills, vendors and items import in the first minute or two.

4

It stays in sync

New POs and bills keep arriving on their own from then on, no further action needed.

Questions about the QuickBooks connection

How does the QuickBooks Online connection work?

Connect it from Integration Settings and approve TraxSail on Intuit's own sign-in screen. TraxSail never sees your QuickBooks password. Once approved, your open purchase orders and recent bills import automatically, and new ones keep arriving on their own.

Does TraxSail write anything back to QuickBooks?

No. The connection is read-only. TraxSail reads purchase orders, bills, vendors and items. It never creates, edits or deletes anything in your books.

How does the price check work?

Every supplier bill's unit price is compared with the price the matching purchase order agreed. An increase of 3% or more is written as a note on that purchase order, so it surfaces before the next order goes out instead of after you notice it on a statement.

What does it cost?

Nothing extra. QuickBooks is included on every TraxSail plan, the same as Shopify and Faire. There is a free trial for up to 25 purchase orders with no credit card. See pricing.

I also sell on Shopify. Does that work together?

Yes. Shopify sell-through and QuickBooks purchase orders both feed the same stock-out and reorder math, so a listing that's about to run out gets tied to the actual supplier order that's supposed to prevent it. See how the Shopify side works.

Stop exporting POs by hand

Connect QuickBooks Online and let your purchase orders and bills do the rest of the work themselves.
